Let this be the year that we not fence-off beaches, place high-intensity lights and threaten triple fines to the citizenry marking the birth of our republic.
Instead, let’s finally set some beaches aside to allow if not encourage the “rockets red glare” and celebration of the birth of our country.
The beach is arguably the best place for fireworks compared to the forests and the beaches are always well-cleaned by industrious volunteers the next day.
