Mortarboards at San Lorenzo Valley High School graduation ceremony last week brought equal measures of humor, artistry and wisdom, including this one, which states, “You’re going to wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast.” Sentinel photographer Shmuel Thaler attended commencement exercises for Aptos, Pajaro Valley, San Lorenzo Valley and Watsonville high schools last Wednesday and Friday and took note of the personalizing of the graduation regalia.
