The Touch-a-Truck event, which filled Church Street between Center and Chestnut streets with an array of vehicles and equipment used by the city’s public works, sanitation, parks, fire, police and water departments offered those in attendance an opportunity to get up close and personal with the equipment. The event also featured a Road-eo Skills competition where skilled operators will demonstrate their precision and finesse in navigating challenging tasks. Friday marks the end of National Public Works Week, which recognizes the essential contributions of Public Works professionals to the well-being and safety of communities across the country.
